Role
Reducing friction for compliance reporting processes across 500+ juvenile justice facility staff
Project Overview
The Center for Improving Youth Justice (CIYJ) supports juvenile justice facilities in collecting and analyzing data to improve outcomes for youth. Through Develop for Good, I worked with CIYJ to redesign a required reporting process (IR DCCR), where staff document policies, verify compliance, and submit approvals across multiple roles. This process was largely managed through PDFs, emails, and manual coordination, making it difficult to track progress and ensure accuracy.
As one of the designers on the team, I focused on translating this fragmented process into a structured digital workflow, designing how staff move through reporting, verification, and approval with greater clarity and accountability.
